Im assuming you already know the history of the word.
She uses it as some sort of way to take pride in being mixed. She even says it’s comparable to the n word.But it’s very tone deaf to call yourself this as some sort of statement as if dark skinned women aren’t almost always overlooked while light skinned/mixed women are put on the HIGHEST pedestal in the black community

I know what it means. I am light skin and I honestly don’t know what you’re talking about. I agree we’re treated better by white people if that’s what you’re saying. It doesn’t mean it doesn’t have its own set of problems.
