He’s top 3 right with Kenny and Drake. Y’all gotta kill this meme. Ktt the only place that don’t consider him top 3. But then again this place is hella out of touch with reality.

yall cant defend him bein top 3 without excluding nicki and eminem
724 weeks on the 200 is doing well by most people's standards lol. there's only 4 rappers that have done more than him on that chart
i think we hold him to an impossible standard, he does good compared to most artists
It's not an impossible standard imo. There's no reason why his albums shouldn't be charting longer and I can say the same thing for other rappers as well.
DaBaby - 151 weeks
No way he’s been charting since 2017
I add in the total number of charted weeks for every album from a single artist so if DaBaby has 3 albums that have each charted for 50 weeks, he's spent 150 weeks charting.
Drake really on pace to overtake Eminem damn
It'll happen in about a year or two. Drake charts 6 albums weekly while Eminem charts 2 albums weekly. In a few weeks, Eminem will become the first act to have 2 albums chart for over 400 weeks and Drake will be joining him soon in about a year.

Lol Trav is up there
Wouldnt surprise me if Utopia outsold CLB
Drake, Trav and then Kendrick

Travis will use every bundle loophole he can find while Drake won't so that shouldn't surprise anyone. Without bundles, ASTROWORLD would have sold nothing more than 350K. Meanwhile, Drake did over twice that without using a single bundle.
First week sales aren't a measurement of who is bigger imo, especially in the streaming era. Album longevity and overall consumption is really what matters and nobody outdoes Drake in that.

but if he's still in the top 5 billboard 200 rappers oat that's success right?

Of course. It's just surprising that he doesn't even have a single album charting (save for Graduation which randomly re-entered this week). I feel the same way about Nicki and Lil Wayne as well. They should each have at least 1 album charting.

astroworld still sold well overall its 3x platinum
scorpion had bundles but it didnt help much cause it was for that ugly jacket

I didn't say it didn't. I'm just saying that using debut weeks as a measurement of who is bigger is out of the window, especially in the streaming era. Look at Taylor Swift and all her high debut albums that crash in the second and third weeks and can barely surpass 2/3 million units in the US years after their release. Consistency > peaks in the streaming era imo.

Debut week still shows who is bigger/most anticipated tbh
but yea overall sales shows more like kod isnt in ten best selling rap albums to date from 2020. but most of yall ignore that

if you look at his streaming numbers he's usually top 40 or top 30 on spotify in the world for any genre.
maybe his music that's popular is more spread out instead of album focused? people might be listening to his albums more equally instead of just listening to Grad, MBDTF, dropout or pablo.
