SlingshotIm mad cause I almost forced myself to like that album lol. ktt swore it was fire, so I kept listening and listening, and the production is fire.
But then I realized I had played the album 50 times, and still could not recall what a single song on the entire thing was about

he is a fun dude and has a wholesome personality to him so I dont really wish the worst for him. but it’s his fanbase and the biting he has done towards Kendrick and his other peers over the years that feels so much like he is just gentrifying the genre and repackaging it towards white people who dont give a single f*** what any rap song is about and just wanna hear vocal flow massages

You don't really need to listen to it unless you're a huge No ID fan. The production is great but the songwriting is incredibly derivative. If you've heard the classics, it's not going to surprise you.
Pretty decent album though.

Dude some people are easier to work with than others LMAO. Have you not seen how badly MF DOOM has ghosted Madlib since Madvillainy? Artists have conflicting schedules and interests, it’s the same reason why dream collab albums for rappers in their prime never end up happening. If an artist like kendrick currently wants to go for a certain sound, they have no obligation to hold themselves back and work with an artist some internet kids want them to.
