and i would argue
that the authenticity
in the art in itself is catchy
like you wanna come
back to it to feel that again
once artists realize catchy doesn't have to be catchy
the game is f***ed up
nahmean
honestly y’all gassed this up way too much
Had me kinda hyped. Wish some of these beats went to other rappers

His beats are always top notch.

I'm glad he went out this note, the more he kept rapping he would keep going downhill
Eh... Logic's acclaim only started going downhill after he moved away from the straight-up raps he did on the early mixtapes to T***. The sense of hunger started to dissipate and the songs started sounding more radio-friendly. To me, even YSIV didn't feel like the true embodiment of what that series represented. I personally feel like he was spreading himself too thin, dropping project after project way too close to one another. He dropped two albums, a mixtape, and a soundtrack in about a 14 month span from 2018 to 2019. Your favorite rapper will usually put out a single album like every one to three years.
But, even though the subject matter on NP is gravitated towards someone who is settling into living a more normal life and not the 23-24 year old Logic who was coming up and making a better life for himself, the overall sound is a return to form that put him on the map in the first place.
T*** is still my favorite album from him, so I'd be lying if I said wasn't disappointed that Ultra 85 is (currently) not on the roadmap. But, I also can't be mad after all of the work Logic put in over the last ten years or so.
It really took him a week to make this
it's a lil misleading
he fine tuned it over
a much longer period
after 1.5 listens, I have no idea why people are saying this is album of the year.
def one of logics better albums and the production is top notch, but its not like its upper echelon s*** across the board
People are saying that? Nah that’s a step too far. It’s top 10 for me but it’s been a strong year so far. Almost didn’t bother listening though since once never enjoyed a project from him ever until now
no they aren't y'all just say anything on here
Heard Em Say got some off putting corny lines and his flow is way too over the top at times
his voice on Amen is unpleasant to listen to, especially the first 40 seconds
and ending your supposedly final album with a 6-minute skit is ambitious but anticlimactic asl
Came in expecting to hate... it I didn’t. Wasn’t even gonna bother to listen, but I’m glad I did
I liked this. Kinda crazy he’s retiring
Never kept up with him like that but when he skyrocketed in popularity back in 2017 I thought he’d be a pretty big figure for the foreseeable future
Regardless he did his thing
he really is hurt
seeing the confessions cover is kind of haunting now honestly
feel that way about the no pressure cover too
dude's face is melting on there
Dark Space was p powerful
Prolly one of his best written songs
I haven't been listening to Logic since Under Pressure but Im glad I checked this out. This album is great from front to back. This reminded me why I loved Logic during his mixtape days. The only track that I didnt like was Perfect. It felt like it was just out of place compared to the production of the rest of the album.
Celebration and Soul Food II were my favorite tracks after the first listen. That Celebration beat hit me fr.
Did he took more drum patterns from other songs? Heard em say it literally good morning and the closing track is basically say you will
