UP was the last logic album i've fully listened to and liked but ima peep this in a min
Heard em say got the similar drum sound of Good Morning
I don’t get the Baby hype tbh. He’s by no means bad and I f*** with some of his stuff but nothing he does in terms of flow, lyrics, or even beat selection is that impressive. He’s like Young Thug but if you took away the things that make Thug unique and great. Sometimes I feel like people just like the sound of his voice and that’s enough for them lol but I assume there’s more to it if people give him that much praise
I don't dislike Lil Baby either but I've still yet to be impressed by anything he's done. He's just Young Thug lite, and why would I listen to a lite version of Young Thug when I can listen to the far superior and still making music Young Thug
cut hit my line gp4 couple verses from soul food cut open mic and album would be much smoother to listen to front to back
You cutting like 3 great tracks
"The sad part is logic can’t make an album with an original sound he has to borrow other people’s ideas in every song. Very disappointed"
How does that person say this with a Lil Baby avy tho

There’s a completely different standard for Thug clones I guess
The “every day s***” verse in dad bod and the point it makes is genius
Honesty fav part of the album. He was finally sounding like himself and all the sound effects and everything made it so entertaining. S*** sounds so passive aggressive and sarcastic in a funny and intentional way

the crazy part is they're literally knocking sampling which is a cornerstone of hip hop

I don't take those people seriously because they've clearly never heard of who No ID if they're tryna knock the production for "reusing samples"
There's like 3-4 songs that follow that similar Sing About Me drum pattern
He even uses the Outkast horns, it's like he takes other stuff to craft his own
You can defend it as inspiration alright
But what did kendrick steal for Sing About Me or Maad City, what did Kanye steal for Runaway
Logic got away in his career with completely taking parts & cues from other artists to spin his own version of it
Mf prolly got a GODDAMN in every verse here & the word "vicinity"
s*** still sound good even tho unoriginal
logic albums basically a greatest hits mashup of hip hop
No Kdot album sounds like this.
It's an 2015 meme that Logic copies Kdot.
It's lame.

chill b there's like 3-4 songs that mimic the feeling of Sing About Me with similar drum patterns

Which one? Edit: GP4? Soul Food?
