There's no one to trust, that's how it be in Southside
The block is too hot, a thousand degrees they drive-by
I'm runnin' this s***, can't disagree on my time
In love with one color, there's nothin' but green on my mind

Bro
The voice on this hook is mean!
Gutter
finally got around to this a month late... yeah it might be the best of the series
it feels like a more polished version of the first two, the beats seem brighter, the mixing isn't terrible, and the writing feels more focused
happy lloyd still got it
Sucks that Halloween Havoc 3 is the only tape on streaming from Banks' wild run from 2011 - 2016

I know when it's comin', my body hurts when it rains
Took a significant loss and ain't been the same
Thought that we split through divorce, but I'm still in pain
Thought about turnin' s*** off 'til my children came

Yeah I like more songs on this than tcoti2
COTI2 is solid but it's definitely the worse one of the trilogy

COTI 3 > COTI 1 > COTI 2 imo
And I like all of 'em
COTI 3 > COTI 1 > COTI 2 imo
And I like all of 'em
I have 1 slightly above 3 still
feel like i'm the only one whose favorite is COTI 2
It's my favorite as well. I feel like it had the least misses production wise.
2 > 1 > 3 for me.
feel like i'm the only one whose favorite is COTI 2
Might be my fave front to back
3 has the highest highs 100% though
feel like i'm the only one whose favorite is COTI 2
Can't be mad about that, that album has Don't Switch, one of my favorites of all 3 albums

when i see lyrics like that coming from banks, makes me wanna go back to listen and pay attention to what he's saying in his songs.
i grew up listening to young banks (punchlines etc.) and that's the era of lloyd banks i love most. i have a hard time enjoying this style of banks. it's mostly due a combo of his voice change, delivery, cadence and beats. he had so much charisma in his early 2000's g-unit era.
this s*** sounds depressing! but off first listen few months ago, it felt like the subject matter was very vulnerable. am i wrong?

Alternative artwork looks good too

Hunger for more was the first album I ever bought and banks is definitely in my top 5 OAT. He spoke about going less punch heavy in one his latest interviews def worth checking out. The punches are still there though “too many broke niggas stepping cheapens the wine”
this is one of the darker cuts on the album but every line hits hard man. I think this album is the most vulnerable he’s been tbh
