former police commissioner turned mayor in the late 60s. awful racist who weaponized police and pushed racist policies. that statue for him has been a big debate cause he did have a lot of white blue collar supporters who loved what he did similar to the trump situation we have now. there's a lot of articles about it

Exactly. You can't throw out this entire movement because of isolated incidents. What matters is justice for George Floyd, and I see people of all colors, creeds, sexual orientations, coming together and fighting the abuse, violence, racism of the police state. The media is trying to distract from the real issue at hand.
