I hear you, I don't know that either a peaceful demonstration or a riot will work toward any end goals tbh. I also don't want people getting hurt. I just understand the outrage. And don't feel that people should be looking for acceptance from the current system anyway
Creating alternatives to the police through community efforts is probably the only real way forward... but that's another conversation for another day

Peaceful protests actually can work, look at the Indian Independence Movement, the Civil Rights Movement, anti-communist protests in Eastern Europe of 1989, and protests in South Korea, Sudan, Lebanon recently, and that's off the top of my head
