Yeah i agree but what about when the cops block off he guys house? You cant let them off the hook that easily.
And also the stores are closed before any of this happens so people arent murdering in cold blood here.
You think the media would be giving this nearly as much attention if it were people singing in circles protesting?
If the cops disperse the crowd around his house try and have businesses avoid giving him food, discourage local chains from supplying him with anything. Evacuate his family so he's in isolation until there's justice. Anything. Target specific ways to get justice rather than mindlessly hurting random people.
Also yea it would be as big, I'm not saying for it to be completely non violent or no property destruction, just to redirect it towards the people responsible.
anyone got a new link? this s*** keeps buffering
If they’re buffering it’s coming from the source not the websites problem.
I understand where you're coming from especially re: the media but why would i don't understand why you would target local businesses and not the suburban or affluent bubbles. I went over this in another post, but like separately too, why would anyone ever change if they just see people destroying their own communities? They just brush it off as "well looks like they're destroying their own neighborhoods again, oh well, send in the cops". Wouldn't it be far more productive to raise awareness by bringing the reprecussions to the people actively enabling it rather than the people in similar scenarios or areas being effected by it?
Idk if they are branching out into the affulent area or where the mayor lives for example. Idk if where the protests are happening now is a suburban/affluent area.
I did see theyre blocking off the cops house so theres an example of that
