They concluded that "petitions have limited legislative impact," finding only "three instances where petitions led to concrete policy outcomes," even though there were a total of 38.5 million signatures on more than 473,000 distinct petitions."

And people are still out here thinking they're doing something by signing stupid petitions and doing peaceful protests. It's more sad than anything. I think a society where people resort to signing petitions online and doing peaceful protests to express their discontent is every dictator dream.

Explain to me why local police departments are armed like the f***ing military but can still be overpowered by unarmed civilians that can take over entire portions of the city? I’m definitely not saying that they used ever use their military weapons on people, they shouldn’t have those weapons at all, but why have a militarized police force if they’re too p**** to actually stop a hostile take over? Is all the money spent on expensive armored vehicles and weaponry just for show? Defund the police bro...

Alright, the celebrities and influencers need to stop apologizing. That’s fine, but let’s the get this police reform moving first, then we can all apologize for s*** and hug it out and sing campfire songs in the hills of Calabasas after they stop killing black ppl.

Like yeah, let’s hold people accountable for what they’ve said/done, but I want justice for George Floyd and a new system so there won’t be another death like George Floyd’s again. We’ll worry about the rest later. Cancel culture is so 2019.
