i dont live too too far from where it happened so its really unsettling
especially how quickly authorities chose 2 dismiss it as just a suicide....given the context of whats going on and WHERE he was found hanging

All we can do is make noise so justice might get served

This is a very volatile time we live in, things go up, then they go down and bubble, then they come back even harder. If we let this moment pass without meaningful changes, it's going to be mass bloodshed next time. Because there's nowhere to go but forward when things aren't working. There's no walking it back. We all need to be invested in this. Next time won't be like 2015 or 2020. It'll be worse. So let's make sure there isn't a next time.

There's no turning back the future is f***ing fighting for respect and freedom. If u (not you but in general) don't get it you will get washed by the wave period.

u would think after all thats happened these past 2 weeks, the police would go out there way NOT 2 shoot niggas for unjustified reasons but here we are. Lmfao.

I don’t think this will be as big as George Floyds turnout cuz of the circumstances but I hope justice will be served. Another black man dead because of incompetence.

Yeah, we've reached the point of no return. And it's damn sad what it took to get us here. Not just George Floyd but thousands murdered by the police, hundreds of thousands dead from COVID-19, which really set the stage for all this unrest, 40+ million out of work. We're not really a first world country anymore. So yeah, it's time to burn it down and start over.

I'm tired of all that first world third world talk too that s*** is outdated

we're seeing the connection between capitalism greed corruption and oppression racism economic inequality everything all mixed into one they all keep the system going

for somebody's family member to be brutally murdered by the police it might as well be third world fourth world f*** it

s*** is dumb. With the economic inequality, US can't claim to be rich because that's sweeping millions in poverty under the rug like they don't have money so they don't exist?

f*** all that talk aint nobody first world when u got s*** healthcare for millions and so many in poverty and racial violence built in as a part of the system.

(not mad at u but whats goin on btw)

It kills me to see humans trying to be rational by yelling at riot police who literally have nothing to do directly with the incident.

Their anger, they can't channel it anywhere else.

This ain't the right ave what they doing in ATL but I FEEL the pain man.

Preach. I live in a city with among the largest wealth disparities in the country. In LA, you either got f*** you money or you're treated like literal filth. There's barely a route to just bring in a decent living for your family anymore. Motherfuckers throwing us $1200 checks and tax breaks and keeping trillions to bail their own asses out.

And if you're black, forget it. Can't be a decent father, raise decent kids and break the cycle when there's a target on you from birth. Yeah nah, this can't continue. And nothing changes without some pain and loss.

there aren't too many avenues we're given tho

look how these protests started. then we were out in fat numbers all peaceful, and dudes still getting shot by cops, anti-trans laws being passed, and a black dude was hung the other day

the peaceful, hugging s*** aint doin that much for us, and we can't vote right now either

I like how the police officer is talking to the people, especially as a black officer, but they won't let him talk. They just keep being against him without at least listening to what he has to say.

  • Jun 14, 2020

They have a black officer front line speaking to the people

These conversations will never go anywhere

They won't too much opposition and emotions from all sides of the circle. It'd be hard to get a white officer to talk to them, but let's say they do. The people won't listen, the officer would get mad and could be a racist, but that helps nobody. Black officers talks the them, he get condemned for being an officer in the first place so they won't listen to anything he has to say, like we just saw. This is just a big mess.

    At least he tried tho

  • Jun 14, 2020

Talking to the state troopers and s*** like they can change anything.

Taking the fight to the wrong people.

They are there to do a Job

And 80% of law enforcement in ATL is black

Like this s*** is just folly.

Exactly, idk what's the point in even trying is. This circle is folly and will not end.

While the circle is still going....thr main problem Will still take place.

All this outrage is not going to change anything where it needs to be changed.
