like has the protest been more numbered and more wide spread then the Rodney King riot? Yea tbh unless there is like an overhaul of this whole police system idk what is going to change

Protests in 50 states and 17-18 countries so yes if that's how you're measuring it.

oh damn thats right, its spread to other countries now, how do you see an end to this? Like the Rodney King riots ended when the national guard came right? But in this case, this just escalated everything

rodney king survived so it was on a lesser scale
the fact that floyd is dead p much means the officers will have to be found guilty or else this s*** was just the beginning of chaos

No one can say for sure, it's all speculation no matter how emphatically anyone says "this is how this ends".

My guess is it'll be a mix of local measures taken state by state and fatigue from the protesters

No. 2nd degree for the main cop. Aiding and abetting for the other 3.

yea i agree, tbh I feel like the only thing that could end it is the president, but instead of over-correcting ( defending police, more requirements/ training to become police, stricter laws for police and much more) he is just dividing the people

it's crazy cuz even if you take race out of it, part of America left the country to set up their own establishment in an attempt to take over our country...does that make any sense? it doesn't make any sense to me to keep the statues just by that alone, not even including the oppression of blacks with slavery and civil rights.

what will happen to the other 3? can't they get out with a 5k fine? or has that been raised or changed?

Feels like the protests will peak this weekend and slowly die down as states start opening back up

Every part of the system bends over backwards to clear cops of their responsibility for their actions, so it's hard to say. There's a not-terrible chance that all 4 will get off. Yes, our system is really that f***ed.

Charges could be upgraded, but if the other 3 get convicted of ANYTHING, aiding and abetting is probably what it'll be. Chauvin might get convicted of 2nd degree, but it could be reduced to manslaughter or even nothing.
