ChillaI am not saying that Floyd is a martyr in the literal sense of the word. I don't think Candace is saying that either. As I've understood it from the video, she is referring to the idea of him being portrayed and uplifted by his community as somebody outstanding - as a martyr would be uplifted by his peers when a martyr dies for his cause. What you say is true as well. He has become a symbol of systemic police brutality against black people, and those who are making images of him are acknowledging this issue and paying homage. I agree.
Look. If people close to him or knew him personally want to uplift him and talk about how he positively affecting their lives, then they can. Who the f*** is Candace Owens or anybody for that matter to say that they can't?

thank you. at this point it feels like it has escalated from just black people (it still is mainly blacks but hear me out) to just citizens in general. everyone protesting, black, white, even news reporters have been assaulted.
