it's a combination of people being self interested, activism becoming corporate, and people trying to cancel and tear down idols that makes it hard for movements like this to have leaders in 2020

IDK if we want to just destroy the police. we want to destroy the currently broken system inside the police department and create a newer and more protective service for ALL people.

I personally think we should just start implementing laws to prevent police brutality while revamping the system. that way if something foes happen in that breaking period in between, we still have a force to protect us from things like robberies and mass shootings.

my question is what would we do if there was a mass shooting at a protest? how would the police help us protestors who are fighting against them?

i think leaders are slowly moving into positions naturally, but it's only individual protests and and not on a bigger level

Idk if it's the same one you are referring to but I saw a 17 minute long video of her on Facebook and also on Twitter (twitter.com/RealCandaceO/status/1268280610818101248?s=20). She was talking about not liking the idea of uplifting George Floyd as a martyr considering that he was not an upstanding citizen but in actuality one that had committed several felonies (one of which was robbing a pregnant woman at her house together with a few others and pointing a gun at her pregnant stomach, which he served 5 years in jail for). She literally agrees that it was a horrible incident and that the cop should be arrested, that Floyd's family should get justice and that this is not a video about how criminals deserve to die. She never said Floyd deserved to die, so I'm not sure where you got that from.

why are they so stupid? we all know ALL police aren't terrible racists preying on black lives, but there are still a large amount of polie officers who follow us to our own homes, single us out of a crowd when nothing's going wrong, and footage from these protests shows that they are still prejudice and not afraid of it even on camera. obviously some cases where police shoot black people are jusitifed, but ndef not all like they are assuming. I had to stop watching 2 minutes and 43 secs in so i know i missed a lot of it but they are really the oblivious ones here. so glad i never really got into their channel when i first heard about it a few years ago

Yep, whoever leads the movement will have to accept that they would end up being a martyr. The problem is the so called black leaders of the past decades really were fraudulent. Therefore, nothing was taught or passed down to the millennium generation. Cornel West and a few others are real but they are old and we need new energy.
