I'm talking burning that red hat on camera for example. Some sort of visual that becomes engrained in peoples head like him with the MAGA hat did.
I think its best he stay quiet though. He dug himself into such a big f***ing hole, and he does not know how to articulate his thoughts on politics well at all.
yeah like if he came out with statement like other celebrities i would be very upset with that, i am still huge fan of his music and just hope he does stuff behind the scenes

We don't need to give cops over half our budget. Not here, not anywhere. Improve society and you won't need as much policing to begin with.

theyre obviously fighting for other things as well too. way too much money is invested in police.. and it can be distributed other places
a huge LA proposal by the city council president wants to slash LAPD budget by $150 million and invest it back into communities of color (basically all of LA)

Im not going to pretend like I know what the training is like, but the riots all over the country has literally justified it. They not sending mall cops in for stuff like this.

i saw something today it said something like if we spent 35bn dollars we would end homeless in America
if with spent something similar to that we could make all education free for all (outside of ivy league)
But no they spend over 100bn dollars on police force which isnt very well trained they have their priorities wrong
The main reason i support destruction of big business is because of 1.5 trillion dollar pay out on Wall Street

Defunding does not mean give zero money to law enforcement. It means shifting funds where they can help people have better lives.
Cops need to be held accountable as well. They need to know that their actions come with very real, personal consequences. Employment, licensure, pension, all of it gone in an instant if they make a mistake.

there's a lot of literature out there going on about how you can't really reform policing.
I can't go into detail about it but try to read "The end of Policing" (it's free right now). Keep an open mind and consider the history of policing and the types of people it might attract.
This is also an interesting tweet about abolishing the police and what that would mean.
