Because this has been happening for years and swoet under the rug, had it not been filmed they would have discredited the man and juked the stats. That's been the response since the dawn of man and look where we're at now

One thing I've never understood is like, if you're angry, why are you burning & looting local businesses in your own neighborhoods like they're the problem? Shouldn't you be going to the affluent or suburban neighborhoods and doing that s*** there if that's who your target is? It's not like a local deli or an autozone store are doing anything. When this s*** happens it makes it even worse for the community because now they're going to ramp up police in that area and there are going to be no local businesses or services for people. If they protest elsewhere it doesn't affect their own livelihoods and it gets the message across more directly.
