People who loot do not care about that. Looters are out to get something for free regardless of people trying to frame them as doing it for a cause. I still think looters are effective in bringing attention to the cause even if their intention isn't really for that.

Peaceful protests that are organized with the blessing of city officials are only good for healing and awareness

Shutting down roadways, sidewalks, creating a commotion

it brings attention but it also paints the protest in a bad light and gets others turn disagree with the movement
