    Party system will never crash

People are always gonna group towards certain issues

It'll just reform under a different name if anything

It’s human nature to pick a side, that’s what the party system is built on. We'll see true change within the system when mostly everyone can agree on voting an independent in,until then, everyone is mostly indifferent to certain things.

Think about all the brilliant, strong people in America - and once again we are left with two old, morally derelict white men to choose from.

We’ve already set a precedent that someone with ZERO political experience can become President, so it’s a shame the only names that came out of that as a result were celebs like Oprah or just silly suggestions like The Rock.

it's so hard for an independent to get that much support with the amount of money campaigning etc involved with the two main parties but maybe one day

Campaign reform (Finance specifically) is so necessary, the sheer amount of money wasted is mind-boggling. The fact that campaigning is so engrained the way that it is spits in the face of 21st century America

Sure would be nice to take private money out of politics

And you could say voting for Biden will only ensure the shoving the same centrist s*** down people's faces. Although not voting for her didn't make much difference after Hilary so idk

It'll be the same result every single presidency. Deep-rooted issues in the electoral system will never be resolved because of rampant neoliberalism, and completely different figures like Trump and Sanders always rise in opposition. Just look at the yellow vest movement.

We set a precedent that someone with zero experience can come in and be arguably the worst president to hold office...

Not sure why your first thought is “I wish some other celebrities would run!”

I don't think anyone's gonna vote independent because so many people are single issue voters

There's no way an independent candidate can be pro-life and pro-choice
