trump evacuated the city????
This whole thing is creating narratives for every side and that’s the problem I have with the looting and violence. That’s why I say,if we’re gonna do violence,we gotta go all the way cause we’re creating more enemies with this approach.

In the grand scheme of things this will only make race relations worse.
It's understandable, most people DON'T want small businesses to suffer but you have to realize there are small pockets of s*** bags who thrive on the destruction of ANYTHING.
Matter of fact these individuals are so corrupted and sick they probably get off more hurting small businesses because they know the impact is far worse
I definitely think he's too mixed up in the corporate politics/establishment to where it's counterintuitive to any valuable change.
But in the Trump era it's like... so f***ing bad.
It's not the same. But hardcore capitalist and corporate interests are always going to taint political leaders
also: Another problem with him is that he feels 100% entitled to the black vote, which is f***ing stupid like you gotta earn that s*** by being about it. Still better than Trump, but some random persons dirty a****** would be a better option than trump so its not saying that much. Dem Party is middle of the road
Yeah trump isn’t a good option either. But they’re both equally terrible candidates in my eyes
its probably equally unfeasible, but having this protest be about systematic racial unjustice, then having another one, say, next month, about unjust allocation of funds by the gov't during the pandemic
having a timeline of what you want to get done makes more sense (to me) than trying to overthrow the most powerful military and a top 3 police state in the world. They're gonna run out of bullets far later than we'll run out of the will to keep fighting
I see your point and do not disagree. You absolutely need some form of community guidance or a prominent leader to successfully navigate this political and physical minefield. However, our will to keep fighting is entirely on us, no matter the force we’re opposing
isn't this his boy?
They gotta be f***ing stupid- why wear a mask if it doesn't cover your nose idiots
Hate people like this, absolute Neanderthals
Yep,if you really want revolution ASAP,charge the oppressor head on and don’t worry about tomorrow.
It's different but...
If anybody's paid attention to world politics just in the last decade (or year for that matter) alone and seen what's happened in other countries when protesters and police clash, that s*** is brutal.
It's a big part of why syria is a failed state and a lot of other countries are in bad shape.
IK its different in every situation but it scares me. The f***in authoritarian forces come in to use whatever violence they want and no real change happens when it needs 2
You're not innocent when you're a gentrifier and move into Black peoples neighborhoods and call 12 on them when they didn't do anything.
Y'all gon learn.
Yeah trump isn’t a good option either. But they’re both equally terrible candidates in my eyes
I just think they've done separate things that bother me, and trump is such a joke of a f***ing man that he's a lot worse
But with Joe and many other Democratic candidates, it's just like: "This is what you have to offer us?" It's f***ing pathetic
people thought it was gonna calm down tonight but it only got crazier. May only escalate from here

I'm listening to Seigfried by Frank Ocean rn bout to cry thinking bout the state of the U.S. and the world.

That’s what people forget, everything is a business and is for profit, insurance companies and the construction industry is gonna make a killing off these protest. As far as race relations go,yes, there will still be plenty of racist after this and plenty more republicans making excuses about how to help the impoverished. I think the #1 thing black people will get outta this protest is respect.
It’s gonna be a small step in the right direction,I think lawmakers will start to listen to black people more but there will still be games being played. That’s why we can’t let up after these protest are said and done.

End of the day it’s all one party. They eliminate any real potential candidates by the time the primary rolls around. It’s the same sad story every 4 years
This is like war, there are a lot of good people but it always brings out the worst of the psychos and criminal minds.
All Geminis and Cancers:
We keeping this going all szn at least til independence day. F yo birthday this year
Only worried about Cancers tho
oh idk if anyone updated but:
'"The Minnesota State Patrol and Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are jointly investigating what happened with the semi that drove into demonstrators tonight on I-35W. The incident is being investigated as a criminal matter", the Minnesota Department of Public Safety tweeted.
The driver has reportedly been arrested.'

That’s why these protest are more of a step in the right direction and not a revolution. We as a people just don’t have that mindset(nor means)to bear that type of pain in the US.
