it's f***ed because i saw it myself on streams and from friends who were there, there were black protestors and some white protestors too PLEADING, literally crying, asking people not to attack small businesses and there were people were just straight up ignoring them. i hope for the best for local business owners that charity & fundraising being done will be able to help at least some of them and community relations will be okay between them and locals once they rebuild. there were a lot of people of all races out today helping small businesses clean up and board up shops and stuff and that was really nice to see after the chaos with them last night.
I think its pretty evident there are black and white people doing proper protesting and then there are also black/white people both looting
I got no problem with guys damaging police offices and government buildings bc f*** them but literally makes no sense to loot a small business or even a mall like that go focus on places that matter like the town hall or something

yeah, i'm not trying to push all people into one side or another. there are def people of all colors protesting and both people looting. but i can tell you from being here myself that people attacking small businesses are predominantly white. not saying 100% but its mostly them at least in center city philly.
i agree they should be focusing on stuff like that or even parasitic big businesses if they're gonna focus on that type of stuff, but small businesses are so nonsensical it's frustrating.
