I don’t think it’s fair to blame it all on voter apathy, because we still always getter better turnout for the actual election than the primaries.
People care, they just don’t take it as seriously as they should.

coltrupmy point is that it literally accomplishes nothing other than satisfying your ego. compulsory voting would get young people off their asses which would've prevented the biden situation to begin with
If everyone was obligated to vote, Biden would still be the nominee and there would be even more slander towards sanders.
Instead of forcing people to vote maybe ask why there's voter apathy and find ways to fix that

JMCi think we should do everything we can to make voting easier for people (mail-in ballots, making election day a holiday or weekend) but it shouldn't be mandatory. there's a lot of people that are so uninformed and removed from politics that it's not a bad thing imo if they don't want to vote
I would honestly consider supporting some form of test prior to voting that could confirm you actually know what you're voting for but that would just lead to further disenfranchisement so it would turn out really badly
