I don't give a s*** about Target or a police station. Burn it down. Cause a problem. I give a s*** about a valid, necessary cause being minimized because there's no leadership. You can't have half the participants peacefully protesting and the other half looting stores with a consistent, unified message. You're either in or you're out.

Designate someone as a leader, have them communicate your message in a clear cut manner and blow up a police station on camera. Say why Target is a symbol of oppression and gentrification. Destruction can be justified. Letting white people and people from out of town loot random stores dilutes the message though.

Yeah, people are going to focus on the looting when they shouldn't. But more effort could be made to streamline what's going out so the message is clear and memorable. Hopefully, if these protests have legs, we'll get more coherence.

I just wanted to say there's a day group and a night group of protesters and they aren't the same people often

So why everybody turn on Antonio brown when he was saying f*** the police and nfl hate black ppl but every brother went on espn and every outlet to slander his name and turn on him. Only man that had his back was Tom brady what’s goin on hereee. Y’all pick and choose

The NFL showed their hand years ago. I have no clue what the ratings are like now, but me and a few other irl friends used to be huge football fans but haven't watched it in 3-4yrs. I suspect the average NFL viewership leans further to the right now than it did in say, 2017+

That's a nice quote. Try to remember it in the future

I believe it. The day footage I'm seeing on stream is very different in tone from the night footage. The problem isn't one or other, it's the gap between the two.

There was a protest in Colorado yesterday that was incredible. 9 minutes with hundreds of people shouting I can't breathe. In light of the lockdown, it was stirring to see so many Americans together again.

Exactly, with what’s going on now,the media and lawmakers can flip it anyway they want cause everyone’s intentions are too spread out. Their gonna focus on whatever helps them the most and ignore the main problem unless we organize these protest and make the message very clear.

And since the night protesters cause the most chaos, the media is gonna make them the poster children for all protesters.

thats bc morons like this think if there isn't an outbreak in a couple days its fake

we won't see the effects of the protests until 2-3 weeks from now. cases lag behind 2 weeks and deaths lag behind even more

True but that can’t be an excuse to not do this more organized and intelligent

People are stupid tho we know the message was gonna get distorted and everybody was gonna loot and cause destruction. That’s easy. But starting from scratch and building a community and changing from within too hard for that.

Playing rust outside of 1v1s is a terrible idea, it's purely for 1v1s

Imagine having more than 2 people on that map at once

You can't give oppressors an inch. This country is begging for unity and coherence and if it comes from a group of people seeking an end to police brutality, all the better.

Yes,these protest may not be perfect but it’s a step in the right direction. We’re all unifying and identifying a problem and we want it solved.
