HaroldsChickenMortal Kombat is a bit odd tone and colors wise. Like it doesn’t want to look like it comes from a video game fully . Without the 90s soul of the franchise instead focusing on the gore which worked but the goofy gore is what made people fall in love . Same issues as MK 1 game story a bit too
Interesting how neither movies are focusing on the villains much only a few shots of bison and Shai Kahn, especially in mortal kombat case with it being a sequel

It looks like a fun cartoony movie filled with Easter eggs . Story not trying to do too much . Colors good . Set in the 90s . Fun corny high watch . Not everything needs to be an Oscar movie . As someone who loved street fighter iv this feels like a good time . Street fighter stories are often not that good
Also I want to see more game moviesThey are doing the actual moves from games and it doesn’t look terrible at all
