A 3/5 for me personally but for what it was…

the main girl was adorable and had the whole room laughing a lot which isnt easy to do. Unbelievably cute performance. Relationship with the sister was done well, all the stitch hijinks is gonna kill for kids, and the emotional/earnest/heart moments were sweet.

It also did have some of that Marcel the shell, cartoonish, really blunt & dry cuteness which I was glad about

Seeing this cinema of the year on Friday

need my kid to like something besides minions & cars hopefully this does the trick

Lilo & Stitch has always been one of my favorite movies and my favorite animation so I've been waiting for this so long and I can say now that this is everything I asked for!

The cinematography and setting were perfect and everything felt grounded and exactly how I imagined (it looked like a real film™), the changes they did worked really well (the new social worker makes way more sense, the lady as neighbour, David) and the third act is even better. They mixed #that moment from Stitch Has A Glitch with the original third act.

The moments between Lilo and Nani, the song Nani sang (which played again when she was saving Stitch), Lilo showing Stitch her family pictures... omg...

Maia and Sydney were amazing.
