those Kendrick “reference tracks” that leaked for Baby Keem & Jay Rock songs were actually written by Baby Keem & Jay Rock for Kendrick, but he didn’t wind up using them on his albums so he let the original writers keep the songs for themselves because he’s a nice guy

I don’t know this to be true in any way but let’s just assume it is for s***s and giggles

Do you or anybody you know that you take seriously in discussions regarding hip hop have Quavo or Lil Uzi in a greatest rapper of all time or alive discussion

If I’m Drake, even being mentioned in the same sentence as quavo or uzi is utterly disgusting.

I hope I don’t need to go into detail as to why either. I’m not even gonna sit here and insult the man in doing so.. There is a difference between one pack of rappers and the ones that get praised on the upper echelon and respect level. The Jadas and Jays Andre 3ks and such

It could mean someone helped
with the melodic intro part

Or it could mean that someone helped with his actual infamous verse “crept down the block, made a right” etc

I know people don't like to admit it but Drake giving production credits to non producers is his way of giving writers credit. He just does it this way now to give plausible deniability if he gets put in controversy again like now. Yachty sends already written Drake demo's to Drake same way a producer sends beats to artists.
