Nigga will body every feature he’s on go on a media tour talking about how he the goat, have people debating between him and Jay-Z, then go in the booth and deliver some utter nonsense

His verse on Nas s*** was immaculate flow was tight, cadence and schemes were masterful how tf is this the same nigga b? Flow Goofy as s***, beats goofy as s***, bars weak asf 🥱

how can u hate, mans is in a good spot in life, releasing what he wants, on his bday put out a project with fun left field tracks leading up to his next main album, running out with the packers, looks happy

When it comes to C5... I completely agree. It's the musical equivalent to a stale cookie. Let it all work out is great but doesn't justify how weak the whole album is. The production value & quality control completely dropped after Birdman was out of the picture.

I liked it when it came out, but it was more because we waited the whole 4 years and I didn't want face the disappointment. I really wanted wayne to win. but at some point you have to stop lying to yourself. It's a poor album musically

gotta fundamentally disagree with your Carter takes and i kinda think ur missing the whole point of what Carter albums are...

Carter's are the mainstream snapshot of the greatest music Wayne is making at a certain time in his life.

Yes in 2004-2005 it came out in the rawer more rap heavy C1 and C2

by 2007 he was a mainstream rapper and C3 is the showcase of what a mixtape rapper with all the budget in the world sounds like

C4 was more of the same and sounds so bombastic, that was his vibe at the time, bigger than life, back from jail, keep killing it
(obv not like before but the album sounds huge)

C5 came after a dark time and reflected a more personal side and story even in the sequencing and theme (Cita audio all over)
AND STILL sounded like when a rap legend commanding massive resources for his version of a personal mainsteam album

each Carter had a mixtape/feature run leading up to it and C6 ain't no different.

Since C3 his subject matter has regressed. He hasn't evolved as an artist, and that's just being real.

you can keep the 5 year gap of no music that most artists do nowadays

im good with wayne supplying at least some sort of musical life untill the actual album

good or bad, no one drops a mainstream streamable project on the lead up to an album. y'all sound JUST like you did when IANAHB2 dropped and look at everyone praising that now
