I've been on Wayne since Tha Block Is Hot.
The songs you listed, I don't particularly like, so I wasn't sure if you experienced Wayne in his prime. Because in my mind I'm like, "If you experienced prime Wayne, how could you possibly think these songs are good? The delivery/voice isn't good, and the beats are generic."
But that's ok!
If you still rock with Wayne - cool. It's ok if we like different things.

Lol yes I like new music. I listen to Drake, Kenny, Cole, Jeezy, etc.
I don't like mumble rappers/new rappers - Carti, Yachty, Uzi, etc.
The thing that disappoints me about Wayne is that he devolved. His song structure and production has somewhat regressed. Even lyrically on some levels. Instead of Wayne being a leader/OG, it feels like he's trying to do what others are doing instead of help leading the charge.
Around IANAHB, he started giving us p***y raps more and more. He also started rambling more.
Yes, there's still flashes of greatness, but those are far and few between.
I'm always rooting for Wayne, but I feel like his fans give him waaaaaay too much of a pass. They don't hold him accountable or demand more. It's always, "Its Wayne...." This has led to him becoming complacent.
I just want more from him because he's capable of so much more.

I think your criticism is fair for the most part. But I don't see how it applies to a song like Lost or Perfect Strangers unless you just don't like the more melodic songs. C5 was better than KOD tbh.
Hopefully you like C6.

Not saying he can’t, just the vast majority aren’t good, making his projects lately sub par since C3. I’d love another Wayne album on par with that tbh. I don’t listen to many new artists these days.

Man THE MOMENT this and Tina tune up dropped, I figured out how to rip that s*** to an mp3 file and jammed it to no end lol. I was slightly disappointed in the CV version tbh.
