He already killed it on No Ceilings back when he still sounded and rapped like the Lil Wayne we all love and didnt try to trap it up unnecessarily
It was just entirely unnecessary when he already killed it better before with the better version of the beat

As always Wayne wanted to make an album WAYNE wanted to make.
I saw a Joe Budden clip that he said heās rapping absolute fire but it has zero direction and the instrumentals are trash.
Wayne has always rapped with no direction. Yeah, you of course have loads of songs which have a subject matter but his best work is him just rapping.
