Am I taking crazy pills lol C5 release might’ve done numbers but if anything it irrevocably sealed Wayne’s best work in the past. Low bar but C6 clears C5 imo, C5 had terrible mixing, a single leading with deceased XXX terrible hook.

Everybody was hating on C5 on release too lol

You’re rewriting history man. The initial reactions to C5 were very positive, at the very least much more positive than the reactions to C6.

I'm sorry but ain't nobody tryna hear that s***. I feel the same way about Adonis or North or whoever's kid they feel the need to put on their s***. I don't listen to hip-hop albums to hear 10 year olds rhyme. S*** sucks and will always suck.

well if there is C7 and it only has like 2 tolerable and decent songs then that’s exactly what I’m gonna say since C6 has like 4

and no C5 was not getting nowhere near the same amount of hate as this is getting - rightfully so cause it was a pretty good album for the most part with a few exceptional songs

as I said there’s really almost nothing to defend about this fodder and I believe you would know that damn well if you had the self awareness that you’re mentioning

I agree that C5 is better and I agree that the lows of C6 are LOWER than maybe any Carter lows

but I am going through the album (for just the 2nd time mind you) and I can honestly day the ATROCIOUS songs are

Island Holiday
Guitar
Elephant
Rarri
Moolah Coming in

5 BAD songs out of 19 and y’all wanna convince me that C6 is the worst album ever crafted. Foh

He does good on features time to time because the topic and structure is laid out for him, he just got to put 16 bars in.

Wayne needs direction. And no old head direction from Wyclef Jean respectfully.

He needs someone in tune to pick the beats, and lay refence hooks to give wayne a topic to stick to. Then, someone to work on song structure - you cant rap 50 bars and just call that a "song"
