The artist who designed this is actually pretty dope imo I’ve seen some of her other work that I f*** wit. But yeah this cover wasnt it
very lowkey feels like a 333 bite
Second time I felt this way.
Karol g’s album gave me the same vibe
I have a feeling this is gonna be flames
Honeslty that he said he had a lot of fun making it and presumably a lot of it didn’t leak is what I’m most happy about. Seems like so many rappers specifically 🤔 have to deal with it and it might take the joy away from a release
this one of the funniest videos i ever seen man the passion is insane

rappers have more leaks bc there are more people in the kitchen
Pop albums are typically done with a plan in mind. people know from the outset who's producing, who's engineering, what's the features, how may tracks, album theme, etc. While in rap music, the albums are mainly done haphazardly in a loose way and don't really come together and get finalized until maybe a couple weeks before release. songs from a year plus ago, the features are done via email or text, session files are sent to the other camp and their engineers, their producers, etc. just way too many opportunities to someone to get access.
LMAO completely forgot about this video I’m actually laughing out loud
Again, not the final cover
This was a concept done by John Ross (Seventh Heaven, sevensevenseven) & some artist on IG named @/masterpiece.650
I think they’re concept covers

while acknowledging these broader differences in process idk if im perceiving it as a larger issue because I pay attention to this genre more (there are carly rae jepsen leaks lol) but i am having a hard time kinda finding the discourse for groups in different genres that kinda has the same entitlement and Strange frustration with artists officially releasing leaked music as they intended before someone stole it (insane).
But it could just be a popularity thing? Cus taylor gets them a lot. but she also release physical music. idk.
do you think its because those albums are so orchestrated, or that theirs a difference in the recording culture. like no (generally speaking) pop artist is going in the booth frequently and recording a ton of songs off top like thug or future or punching in and seeing what songs coalesce over time into an album so there's both less likelihood and time for leaks to happen?
not disagreeing wholesale just wondering if u thought those were the only factors
