Big red flag that you complain about his rapping performances on here while before he was mostly just playing off the beat like a freestyle (especially on EA) whereas on Pink Tape you got songs like Rehab, Mama I'm Sorry etc

I'm one of EA's biggest fans on here everybody knows... but acting like Uzi reached some peak rapping on there is such a lie and you know that his level of lyricism has pretty much always been the same

S*** is pretty great all the way thru with a couple eh tracks that tbh have turned around for me. Could deff be shorter but i just been throwing this s*** on shuffle and finding something new to love w each track. Has grown over the last few days. Great vibes. Uzi tried some new stuff, some uzi sfuff youd expect. Production is great. Interesting melodies and flows. Some honest and open tracks.

He deff branched out a bit on some tracks here and gave some introspective and honest takes on his insecurities and s*** hes been thru too which personally i didnt expect

See this is a fair argument, but the thing is i'm not one of the older fans suddenly looking for insights i know we're never gonna get. I don't listen to Uzi for lyrics, i like the soundscape he creates and i think he flows better than almost anybody in the game and also has some of the best melodies

I can always spin King's Disease 3 again if i'm gonna look for some lyrics or bars

the instrumental on died and came back is sooooo good perhaps maybe even the best on the entire album but uzi’s delivery on that track doesn’t really do it for me unfortunately song is just ok

It's not bad but def the least memorable song on here for me by far. I mean try and throw a couple of other joints from the tracklist at me but i'm pretty sure i can argue why i'd enjoy them more than that track

and those WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOs in the beginning gave me peak travis vibes

mix is soooo good on this album, so much going on but it never feels too overwhelming. All the sounds are clear

I'm just so happy that i can finally unapologetically say uzi delivered a personal classic for me. I know i will be playing this album for years to come

I don’t think wanting to hear a bit more evolution from Uzi is that bad of an expectation
Uzi dropped Luv Is Rage in 2015 and when comparing it to the Pink Tape Uzi still has a lot of talent and flows and rhyme schemes but it’s like they’re comfortable existing in a small space
maybe i just want Uzi to be someone that they are not
