my gripes from this album

• lack of originality with his take on this type of music. he’s copying Carti all the way down to the baby voice. the baby voice rarely works even for Carti.

• repeated lines on 2 minute tracks (again Carti)

• 5 minute songs that don’t even go anywhere or give you a reason to keep listening. pluto to mars, patience, days come and go.

• music that sounds geared for tiktok

• his singing voice and rehashed melodies from covered songs.

• cringe lyrics, voices, and adlibs

it feels like he said “i like this type of music and kids like this side of music. let me go make something with those influences while phoning everything else in and see what happens”

• even with songs that are more stripped back and focused on him he just doesn’t say anything captivating so it’s forgettable.

wow that patience - days come and go - rehab run is really beautiful

patience really growing on me finally and rehab is slowly becoming my favourite on the whole album

This project is about Uzi's insecurities in a lot more ways than it lets on. Sure, he touches on his height and whether people perceive him as gay, but also, we all know his youth is the crux of his existence. This feels like a mid life crisis album- at 27.
He's off the d**** that stupefied him, he's got something to prove again, and he's pushing the boundaries forward so he doesn't get left in the past.

Now this is good content

I don't think collabing with Snow Strippers, Babymetal, and Bring Me the Horizon is a wave. Just Wanna Rock is def a continuation of what he started himself with Futsal Shuffle. You're being pretty uncharitable. Feel free to list who is doing this lane better besides Carti.

MGK on his last. Post Malone in general. the Jersey club sound has been making a come back. Even Dababy and Cudi are doing it. Coi Leray’s in her entirety is rehashing old songs. Trippie, the whole Opium label, etc.

Outliers aren’t the standard for the album either. So i don’t think he’s pushing it forward he’s just grabbing different artist but they are all doing it.
