notbrockI do think a lot of the time when rappers try to make rock/metal music it’s always so basic and unseasoned (I can’t think of another way to describe it)
It always comes out sounding like a target commercial version of the genre because I don’t think they actually understand the genre the way they do hip hop. And this also goes for rock artists trying to make hip hop
Yachty the only rapper I’ve ever heard that actually got that s*** right (the production at least)
