It really blows me for how big Uzi is, that his merch and s*** is so f***ing garbage. I think Uzi brands himself well (style, his album covers outside EA and PxBP, his social media, etc.) its just the other smaller stuff that could use a lot of work. Even artists like Trippie have some pretty decent merch and to think Uzi, who has so much incredible fan made art thats ripe for the picking to use, cant put out anything worth a damn is sickening. I only have one Uzi piece and I think its okay at best, I'd love to be able to show the support that way but who knows if it'll improve

Ians stuff is more hit or miss for me (Sicko has some decent clothes) but it's better than aligning himself with Bari in that regard (although I cant forgive him for how involved Virgil has been cause bro is the worst of them all).

Its already happening on a small level, Uzi has always been cool with Ian tho especially when Uzi and Ian were both around ASAP a lot. I wonder if Ian will help mend the Uzi x Carti friendship again, seems like its all business between the two nowadays but since Ian is super close with Carti and now Uzi is too I could see him uniting them again. I wonder if Uzi is also still cool with ASAP, seems like he's been out of the pic with them for a fat minute, but Uzi is cool with Tyler whose close with them as well, just a weird situation with the infighting and whatnot between the different cliques.

Oh absolutely. Purple Thoughtz is just grimy s*** while Real Uzi is the beginning of Uzi's melodic style. Definitely some influence by what was happening in hip hop around 2013-2014.. The Keef melody on Senor Guapo for example.

Senor Guapo was always an early fav but I'm a huge Keef fan so it was an instant click for me. Stuff like Tropics for sure solidified his melodic ability. While I think his production was still not top tier and he was producing more filler than normal, it was absolutely instrumental in his career and is heavily overlooked by the masses (even the crowd that started at LIR barely bring it up). Whippin is a f***ing banger and I remember when I saw an interview around 2016 from Uzi where he said they had a Dumber remix with some major artists at the time (I think maybe Nicki was on it, idk I'd have to look back again, never released so who knows). TRU2 sometime apparently

I think if Uzi had the chance to release more of the "spacey" type beats he had from WoD and others around EA time without the leaks and some of the 2018 stuff he was previewing he would have been able to commit harder to his idea for the album. Still didnt happen unfortunately but I know what you mean, I don't think Uzi wants to give out all his sauce before the album release, s*** LIR2 had almost no snippets on it and turned out very solid even though he had dropped some of his best snippets ever late 2016-mid 2017. Uppin Downers is a fav for sure and def miss the more simple Uzi songs where he just hits a crazy flow or idea for a song, I think the structure of that whole song is incredible, its so disjointed but it works. Praying he picks correctly this time around and fortunately seems like more hands are in the pic rather than just WoD and Brandon specifically that he has confirmed great songs with so I have hope itll be dope.
