that boy got a bussdown he hype asl eEEeeeEeeeE
I really hope what Joe Budden said on his podcast is facts
Hoping these next two projects are the most introspective in his discography thus far, I feel like for him to progress as an artist he now needs to start going above n beyond just rapping about money, diamonds & clothes.
Uzi has demonstrated time and time again his penchant for stirring emotions on his songs (Xo, The Way Life Goes, Mood, Fake From the Jump, Feelings Mutual) - Hoping for these next two projects he gets back into that sorta bag again
I think Eternal Atake was a nice flex for Uzi, especially since he got a lot of criticism in 2016-2017 for not being a "lyrical" rapper. He gave straight bars and intricate rhyme schemes to at least prove he could do it.
I do hope he tries to push himself again. And if they are introspective based, that would be great. XO, Dark Queen, The Way Life Goes, etc. are all fantastic tracks.

To me, as long as it sounds like his hearts in it that’s all that really matters (along with some nice flows or bars).
He’s always at his best when the songs sound raw and emotional but lately (mainly on features) he seems to just go to the same old flow and bars and that’s way worse for me than his lack of lyrical depth.
I think we are definitely getting another heartbreak type record (especially if those Brittany texts are anything to go by he going through it) but I enjoy his more introspective sad songs just as much as his high energy flexing type songs.
He’s always had bars, people love to complain about that, but to me his energy on a song is the real infectious part of his music that keeps me coming back
