Prolly what ak says is true and baby in a bubble wit his yes men cuz nobody ever said say twin was hard but I guess he just thinks it’s the one that’d be catchy, heyy was better than say twin and the 2 before say twin harder as well

I went back and listened to My Turn and then played this again a few times and sonically, as cliche as it sounds, he doesn't sound hungry. His flow is more or less the same but he doesn't have the same tone or infliction.

But this is still good, ngl. An improvement over his last project for sure. More varied production.

I like his flow and lyrics for the most part but I can’t get past his warbly whiny ass voice

It’s Only Me was better. I either like Baby the most when he’s rapping his ass off like Sum 2 Prove, Never Hating, Not Finished etc or when he has more of an emotional delivery like Emotionally Scarred, Best of Me etc

This album only really has one song of him somewhat rapping his ass off, the one with Thug and Future. The one with Rod Wave and I Promise are pretty good too. There’s not much else that is really resonating with me

My main problem with Baby at this point is that he just isn’t a “drop once every few years” type of artist. He didn’t learn from Roddy Ricch and I think the sales for this album will be about half of his last album because of the laziness in terms of both quantity and quality

After a couple more listens I feel like the problem is there are a lot of good to great tracks but nothing that's like insane. Few I'll keep on playlists but that's about it
