I feel like context needs to be added to this. His ex recently released a book which detailed abuse that was ongoing for years. In the wake of that, several woman, age ranging from underage to about 19-20 spoke up about harassment/weird DM's they received from him. That's where a lot of the online abuse towards him was coming from.
