lets really get into this. remember when rap wasn't the #1 genre on the charts, even though it was the most popular category? That was a weird era where artist like Drake and Kanye were absolutely f***ed out of that s*** due to the narrative white execs were pushing through award shows and radio play.

Now here we are, in the most critical age of music, and white people run this s***

the main problem out of the world wind of white people critiquing and reviewing black art is that the music is not made for them, therefore they won't like it. Donda and CLB which are both 7/10 albums at worst are sitting in the 50's on Metacritic due to them being "bored" with this work. What the f*** does that even mean? If a rapper isn't dancing like a f***ing minstrel show character or talking about black trauma its boring. How the f*** is Donda boring. How the f*** IS CLB BORING. These white f***ing nerds sit in the depths of their basements and think they have a opinion on a piece of art that was never created with them in mind, WHILE NEVER TOUCHING GRASS. (OR WOMEN)

Then nerds on the internet take this because they agree also because they are lame and white and then we have a strong narrative that spreads across the internet. this HAS to stop

VIEWS WAS UNIVERSALLY PANNED WHEN IT DROPPED BY WHITE CRITICS, EVERYONE (large majority of the population) CALLS IT A CLASSIC NOW. HOW DO WE KEEP MAKING THESE MISTAKES.... LET THE S*** BREATHE

There is no way on earth we should be letting white journalist review black art in under 2 weeks, especially when the art itself is over an hour long.

im tired of listening to white people on black art. Donda and CLB is the tipping point.....I cant do this anymore...

Personally, I think OP what you’re looking for is “nerd” and “pretentious” instead of white. If you take music super seriously as an art form, rather than being a way for the average person to listen to something catchy, then you’re probably not gonna understand what drake does.
