3.15.20 was an absolute mess with only a few legitimately good songs, BTI is solid but it’s also consistently one of the most overrated rap albums of the 2010’s, & the best thing he’s ever done is pretty much just him aping the Funkadelic sound and not doing anything new or original with it

Tyler will probably never be able to live down those early years of edgy teen music (although he probably doesn’t rlly care either), but he’s at least put out consistently great music from Flower Boy onwards
