This really messed me up. Like how did he make K.R.I.T. wuz here, Return of 4eva, Last King 2, 4Eva n a day and then this album. How’s that even possible

I don’t get it, the album hasn’t been a product of his label and Cadillactica was the one going through label issues. Like wtf was going on smh

He didnt fully produce the 2nd album.and the first one....I just think he used his best ideas on KWH and R4 and was tapped out productionwise.

And the single selection was suspect too

At the same time before LFTU came out, he created 4eva n a day too. I think you have a good case here, in addition I think he wanted to put out something with mainstream too.

Tbh it was most likely a combination of factors that made him put out an underwhelming debut

TML isn't bad but it for sure is weak. drake himself would probably tell you that. he got renegaded by dream, hov & jeezy in a 3 track run. Also it collects some of his weakest singles on top of some of the deep r&b cut that should have probably been given to a female singer.

Theres a reason no one ever brings up songs like thank me now, Karaoke & show me a good time. mediocre as s***.
