I'm not above having empathy for people who struggle with mental illness. Lord knows the stigma is still at a high and that needs to change. The problem is how y'all use Kanye's mental illness to protect him from being accountable for anything while dismissing the harm his comments/actions can be causing people.

Unlike some other people, who might not even know they're mentally ill or who might not have the resources/money to get adequate help, Kanye is not only aware of his condition but he also has the resources to get help, along with many people around him who have said over and over how willing they are to help him out.

Someone who has all of that at their disposal and still continues to move the way Kanye does, is not someone I'm willing to waste any of my empathy on.
