You're going to have benefits the rest of your life, get some discipline, have immediate resume (military goes a long way), school payed for,etc.

I know a bunch of people who did Navy and said it was a cake walk.

two of my friends are in the navy, one of them is stationed in fresno right now. he used to be a wild dude, but it's helped him mature greatly and he's married with a kid on the way.
