This was literally made by the dude who made Sorry to Bother You

Safe to say I’m not a fan of his work. The horse human s\*\*\*slaves at the end of that one really bothered me (I guess pun intended)

Watched this last night at 3am. This was like the original Rat Race type movie. Pretty funny for 1963 imo. Some classic goofball activities in this one

    Iron Man 1 - 9/10

Classic, simple movie. A great hero’s journey. First half of Tony and Yinsen in the cave building the suit is awesome. Highlight of the movie. Rest of it is about Tony abandoning his old ways and trying to become a better person. RDJ charisma throughout this, he embodies Tony really well. Obadaya is a nice action movie villain works well enough. Final battle is not great but I like the smaller scale, charm and ambition of the movie so it’s rated high for me. Top 3 Marvel.

    Iron Man 2 - 4/10

Hot mess when it comes to Tony’s story. Didn’t like his behavior throughout this film and he only comes around when Nick Fury sets him straight which is last third of the movie. For the rest of the movie he acts cringey and cuts back to before the character development of the first movie. Liked Black Widow, Nick Fury, Don Cheetle as War Machine here, also Hammer. Whiplash was just lame. Also almost no fight scenes. Final battle with Rhodey was cool ig.

    Iron Man 3 - 6/10

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be, still messy as it’s unsure exactly what it’s going for. The individual sequences - Tony having anxiety from the events of The Avengers, his chemistry with the kid, the sequence at Tennessee, the plane rescue, the final battle with all the different suits, all satisfying moments. Not a fan of the villain or the fake out mandarin villain, both sucked ass. The movie’s ending was also baffling considering they were planning on another Avengers movie. Bc this movie suggests he’s quitting Iron Man and then he goes right back lol. Also not sure why he didn’t do a surgery before if it was an option. Not the greatest plot but biggest in scope and an entertaining blockbuster.

    The Avengers - 8/10

Last time I watched it was in the movie theatre when I was 13 so I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about it now. Cooler than I remember, had a satisfying progression. I remembered the first Avengers assemble scene but the lead up to that moment is well made and the heroes’ different styles blend well. The casting is great, enjoyed Loki as a villain. Goes for big jokes and blockbuster moments, so it can feel a little cheap. For what it is it’s very well executed especially the final battle.

Not sure if I should take points off Avengers for negative impact on Hollywood? It’s a good movie

was forced into watching Tyler Perry Straw. Really horrible movie 0/10 that I see social media gassing. It's something that's gotta be said about movies like this getting so much praise from audiences

Speed racer was mid but in a good way. like there's a good movie there, but then that f***ing kid and the stupid monkey show up and it makes me wanna blow my head off.

Not to mention like 70% of this movie looks f***ing atrocious. Aside from the transitions, which are dope as f***.
