That’s not what happened at all lmaooo

TPAB was polarizing to non Kendrick fans but those people still feel that way like the whole “this don’t bump in the whip” mentality. That never changed, you still see that on ktt but people who don’t look at music like that always hailed it as what it was. The critical praise is one way to show that even though that’s not all there is to it

Agree to disagree cause I remember the fights I got into well lmao

Backseat Freestyle…Poetic Justice…the list goes on lol

The drums on Poetic Justice have aged poorly for me, it’s mostly the snares and claps on the album that sound like they’re off Cruel Summer, dates it just a bit for me

I've noticed people saying this but i've always loved Compton

It's got a victory lap feel to it, ode to his city, and dope to be hearing a new Dre verse around that time

    The Recipe was also dope

I guarantee this'll happen next Friday night but probably worse. I hope I'm wrong but the clout to trash on albums on a first listen is at an all time high especially with what's going on with Harlow.

Comparing Jack Harlow to Kendrick what we’re seeing with him is the people rejecting what the industry is pushing down their throats pause

Ok I could understand this. I feel like the sound of GKMC reflects the time/era that it was released in. Still doesn’t mean that it didn’t age well.

I still think it’s a classic don’t get me wrong

But compared to things like Illmatic and The Chronic I just feel like it’s a step below them

That's true it was clear. I defended TPAB a bit when it first came out and was surprised people wasn't f***ing with it it. We'll see.
