I get this for sure but the name reminds me a lot of old soul groups as well

Could see Big Steppers be a reference to it having a bunch of backing singers/soul influence

Doggystyle/The Chronic have been in heavy rotation lately with my spring semester coming to an end. Just driving down the coast with those albums blasting in the whip s*** is so perfect

I'm just happy the rest of Funkadelic's discography is up on Spotify. One Nation Under a Groove and Hardcore Jollies are getting rotation too

this is exactly what i've been thinking...
the fact that he's promoting it via the pglang site, and other stuff too, makes me think it's gonna be one (last) album for TDE, and the other album for pglang.

since he owns pglang with dave free, it's almost like he's going independent, so he would kill two birds with one stone.

anyway, i'm just excited about it, and i hope it lives up to the MASSIVE hype.
