I think Take Care kind of captures different aspects of being young, in love, and living in excess whether money or substances, and even though it’s not relatable he has a lot to say about his come up. IYRT on the other hand is a love letter to Toronto and has songs like “You and the 6” and “Now and Forever” that say a lot on that topic.

Kendrick’s music says things that are maybe more socially and politically “important” but that in and of itself doesn’t put him on a different level as an artist
