TPAB is so good. Literally the best album I've ever heard

And id never discount DAMN. because that was a huge moment in music and that really solidified Kendrick as the #2 pop rapper and the #1 GOAT rapper

They sound completely different so someone who isnt into the jazzier stuff can easily like DAMN. more

I obviously like TPAB more but DAMN. is pretty much equal to me

Well yeah public opinion is gonna rank TPAB low because it's kind of left field.

But we're music nerds who are constantly posting on a music website. To me it just doesn't seem that close. Even though I think basically every rapper wishes they had DAMN. in their discog, I just dont see it as high as TPAB because he's not rapping nearly as hard, and the beats aren't as musically pleasing to me (they're still great)

Never confuse any of this for DAMN. hate.

That's an undisputed classic with some amazing songs.

I’m talking about other music nerds too a lot of my friends who are really into music like DAMN. more than TPAB

To me the rapping on DAMN. is the best Kendrick has ever rapped, but its not a gap really between TPAB just has less musical moments. The production on TPAB is way more my taste, but the production on DAMN. is honestly just as enjoyable to my ears. Like idk man the albums are pretty much equals to me genuinely
