what I kinda felt when he dropped the album too, the whole two disc thing. feels like the next album Kendrick is gonna put out is the one he was saving for pGLang debut.

Nevertheless this album is still great for me definitely a grower. Still playing now and in daily rotation. But I agree it needs more promo like another 2-3 videos as well as interviews etc..

N95 shoulda dropped the week before the album, Die Hard shoulda been pushed w a video the same day as the album, Silent Hill shoulda been a video 2 weeks after

Agreed. But after Punch's interview with Complex it kinda makes sense why not, he said after the album came out it was all left to PGLang to takeover. PG is a new company anyway so I'm not sure how it's even being funded, I'm thinking a lot of it is from Kenny's own pocket tbh. I don't even think there was an actual single from this album that got a real push.

So really it was all on Kenny and Dave I guess they did all they could at this point with appearances at LV, festivals etc. I think he's gone on tour so soon after the album so that they can have a good budget for the marketing of the next album tbh

I feel like Kenny has been trying to keep it real with on what the album stood for too with keeping the crown on and using specific words at shows but then bro why not just double down and release the We Cry Together video too man why make it limited theatre showing lol like you know it's a controversial album and that song had so many people divided like why not give us the video too so the people could keep talking about it lol. Still an incredible album but seems like their outreach was sadly restricted/limited for this one
