He will probably play Die Hard, Father Time, Rich Spirit, Mr. Morale and Mirror on tour if I had to guess. This just early festival s***. Feeling out crowds after the hiatus.
I think i figured out the whole meaning behind the crown and the whole album in general
So kendrick has been receiving a lot of hate recently for wearing the crown of thorns by people who think he claims to be jesus or the messiah. Something he said last night at glastonbury stuck out to me, he said he wrote the album because we’ve all got our own issues in our lives that we’re dealing with. he also said he wears the crown in remembrance of one of the greatest prophets of all time so we can walk in his footsteps. He then repeatedly said “they judged christ, they judged you” and it hit me. the whole album and the crown of thorns is about how people are so quick to judge others and point out each other’s faults, that we are blinded by our own. that’s why kendrick places such significance in the mirror, it’s a provides a harsh truth about ourselves and reveals our flaws to us but it can also be an opportunity for us to fix them and become better people. kendrick is wearing the crown to show how quick people are to judge, they say he’s blasphemous but really they’re just proving his point and i think he has intentionally done this. another thing that stuck out to me was when he said imperfection is beautiful, to me that means we can try to fix ourselves and we can but we can never truly become the perfect human as christ was according to the bible, but by following in his footsteps we can become better versions of ourselves. i think it’s important to note that while kendrick may be a christian, i don’t think he’s a follower of the church since on auntie diaries he mentions the day he chose humanity over religion. i think at this point kendrick is in a state of accepting people and loving thy neighbour though he finds it difficult whoever they are in contrast to the church who are notoriously judgemental.

hit that enter/return button every once in a while child
I'd like to know what the whispering slow panning vocals saying on Auntie Diaries throughout the whole song
United In Grief & Count Me Out are standouts
Count Me Out doesn't even have the 4/4 time signature for half of the song, I love when artists experiment like that
Didn't really like the whole album but it ain't about me
There's some very good songs
