I think it would be less of an L because the moment someone sells more than Kendrick, comparitions are gonna start (except if its Drake, because everyone expects him to outsell everyone)

Also honestly, only people that could outsell Kendrick that could drop this year are Travis, Baby (both heavily depend on the rollout) and Cole (i think with how he is building up The Fall Off, he should tbh)

Idk all his fw sales, DAMN was an anomaly, that’s his commercial peak, he’s never touching that again. That’s completely normal every major artists has that point in their career. Also cole and Kendrick were never close to drake sales wise, the big 3 was never even originally about sales in the first place.

He did almost 290k with a “mysterious” rollout and no clear radio singles. With numbers down across the board that seems about right.

Maybe with a proper rollout w/ single he’s could’ve hit 330 who knows but the flop talk is definitely just stans being OD
